Brief Bio for Dick Ellis:

I was born into the manse of Knox OP Church in Silver Spring, where my father stayed for 24 years. I used to think, how could anyone stay in the same place that long?

I attended Covenant College, where I met Gayle. We have been married for 32 years, and have 4 adult children who walk well with God and each other.

After seminary and an internship (at our church in Columbia, MD), we moved to Frederick to plant a church. We are still there, 24 years later! We grew up with the church in love for the gospel, which I had known forever, but discovered while in the pastorate. Five years ago, I became a regional home missionary, and have helped several churches get started, the most unusual of which was in the House of Correction in Jessup, MD.
