Spring 2008 Singles Retreat
Sponsored by the Presbytery of the Mid-Atlantic of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church
April 25-27, 2008
Topic: God's Will in the Book of Jonah
The short book of Jonah is usually seen as the story of a reluctant Old Testament missionary and the mercy of God to the pagan city of Ninevah. But Jonah the prophet also reveals how believers respond to the will of God, so we will be using this book to look at our own hearts and attitudes toward the will of God. Do we fight God's will, submit to it, or rejoice in it? Jonah shows us in a real life what that means.
