Young Adult Worldview Conference

Additional Information for and about the Conference

    The purpose of the proposed conference is to provide training for OPC young people on the implications of a Biblical world view. The conference is designed for students those who are approximately college age (17-22 age range), and the enrollment is designed to be small (15-25 participants).

    Pastors and elders are encouraged to attend with young people from their churches to provide discipleship and supervision. The conference will begin on Thursday evening and will conclude on Saturday after lunch – although people are welcome to stay through the remainder of the weekend, but the organizer needs to know in advance.

    The book “Christianity and Liberalism” by Machen will be available for purchase at the conference, though it is highly recommended that the book be read before arriving at the conference.

    The book “Loving God with All Your Mind: Thinking as a Christian in the Postmodern World “ by Veith will be available for purchase at the conference.

Dr. Roger Schultz is the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Liberty University. He has a Ph.D. in History from the University of Arkansas and his specialty is American Presbyterianism. A minister in the Reformed Presbyterian Church, Dr. Schultz worships at Grace Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Lynchburg, Virginia. He is particularly interested in world-view education and how Christian commitments and Biblical presuppositions influence approaches to academic disciplines.His articles on historical, theological and worldview topics have appeared in a number of publications. Roger and Ann Schultz are the parents of nine children.
