"Understanding His Goodness in the Face of Adversity

I will be speaking about God's goodness in the midst of tragedy and despair and will use countless personal examples from the last three years as our church, and I personally, struggled to see God in great loss

Speaker:   Kim Jernigan

  

Kim Jernigan grew up in Frederick County, Maryland; attended James Madison University from 1981-1985, studying business communication and public relations.  While there, she was heavily involved in InterVarsity Christian Fellowship and upon graduation came on staff with InterVarsity, first serving at the University of Virginia, then at East Carolina Univ in Greenville, NC and eventually at Hood College, Frederick as a campus volunteer.  She met and married her husband, Jeff while in NC, they eventually moved back to the Frederick, MD area. They have four children, one who is at Grove City College and three at home that are homeshooled.  She enjoys teaching history, grammar and writing at a private school where her children participate. At New Hope OPC, she serve as co-coordinator for the music ministry and edit the newsletter
