Main
themes this year
are Aquatic Ecology & Forest Ecology. We will compare
the
physical, chemical and biological characteristics of a pond and a river
and learn about watersheds and water quality monitoring. We will also
learn about habitats, niches, and food webs and become more familiar
with the woods of Machen Camp and the animals that live there. While at
camp we will also keep daily nature journals of our activities.
